How to fill in the diagram pdf

Once you have generated your diagram you find a field to fill in the closer circumstances of the accident in the Pdf. You need the Adobe Acrobat to do this, it won’t work with the Acrobat Reader. If you don’t own Acrobat it is a good idea to use the built in function of AccidentSketch.com realized in the menu item on the right side labeled with ‘e-mail sketch & claims file‘. There you find a field ‘Description-Circumstances of the accident‘ to fill in and send with your diagram.

If you prefer to fill in the Pdf and you suffer with a missing Adobe Acrobat we recommend this free resource : XChange Viewer. Once installed this fine software replaces the missing features of the Acrobat Reader and you are able to fill in the diagram within your browser.

Advanced Version 2.0 released in 3 countries

AccidentSketch is no longer just a drawing tool. Our commercial customers missed the option to complete the created graphical information / diagrams with actual photos of the place of the accident and the damaged vehicles. Often an experts report and other documents are necessary for the claim adjustment. All this should be available at one place.

The new Advanced Version has a claims file embedded that integrates all these features.  Besides the diagram of the accident scene the victim can upload photos and every other necessary documents. The user grants the other involved persons access to these documents so that his lawyer for example has fast access from his computer to the diagram and the experts report in order to accelerate the workflow.  Also the initial accident scene diagram can be corrected without changing the original.

Due to the fact that we were very busy installing the pro-versions for our customers quite the time has passed until the public version of AccidentSketch.com was released. So today we are glad to announce that the following 3 advanced language versions are available and published at no charge from now on. The traffic signs are localized now.

Accident analysis – Calculation of the impact speeds

For the professionals in the field of traffic accident analysis we provide a very flexible application to calculate the impact velocities in a graphical environment. All parameters are designed object oriented and can be changed using the mouse pointer.

This online application calculates the three conservation principles of classical mechanics: Conservation of linear momentum, energy and angular momentum. This web based application uses these conservation rules to calculate in a graphical environment the impact speeds for the vehicles involved in the collision. The calculation is based on the post-crash velocities, the energy transformed into deformation work and the (change of the) angular velocities of the vehicles.

This application is still under development based on a well known PC software called ‘WinKol’. Description of Winkol in German language.

Please note: Vehicle are in draft mode for development purposes and will be replaced with hi-res models.

NY Accident Lawyer Recommends Free Online Resource to “Sketch” an Accident Scene

Read here why you should contact a lawyer if you are in an accident.
Found >>here<<. The ClaimMS-Team strongly recommends to do so!

AccidentSketch-demo-shot

AccidentSketch-demo-shot

Free is ALWAYS good in my book! There is a great new FREE resource available to all New York and Pennsylvania car accident victims. AccidentSketch is a online utility that anyone can use to graphically document a car accident. The service is free and doesn’t even require registration!

Why Drawing an Accurate Accident Sketch is Important

Insurance companies, courts and lawyers all require detailed depictions of an accident to successfully resolve claims for compensation. Often there will be disputes about where each car involved in an accident was prior to, during or after the car crash. There may be disputes about the direction of travel for each car. There may be disputes about what car had the right of way at the time of the accident.

Experienced accident lawyers know that working with an accident sketch is a great way for your clients to discuss with you the details of EXACTLY how an accident occurred.

I discovered the existence of the AccidentSketch service through the Lifehacker weblog. I think it is a fantastic tool to ease the process of making an accurate accident report – and it puts the means in the hands of the people who were involved in the crash. AccidentSketch is one of those tools that is essential, once you know it’s out there. More …

Nobody is perfect – the translations

We did put a lot of effort into trying to offer the functions of AccidentSketch.com to as many people all over the world as possible.  Sometimes there are very specific words and terms.  It was the matter of human interpreters and no auto translation program to do so.  Nevertheless you may never exclude small mistakes, bugs or even totally wrong terms.  So in case you are finding any kind of impreciseness in your mother tongue of the language version or having some sort of trouble, please let us know about it.  We would be very thankful about every advice and suggestion of improvement. Please leave your response in the comment function in this blog. Thank you very much for your help.

Traffic signs are not always the same

traffic-signsThe current version of AccidentSketch.com has a batch of common default traffic signs. Depending on the language version you will discover slightly differences of the traffic signs of your country to the ones that are available in the program. Some even may differ a lot. Coming up with the next update of AccidentSketch.com we want to localize the traffic signs,  so that you will only see the ones that you actually know of your country. Having said this we are looking forward to hear from you,  in case the traffic signs do differ,  by leaving a response with the comment function in this blog describing to what extent the traffic signs vary. A link showing an example of the right country-specific traffic sign would be very helpful. Thank you very much.

Grid go away!

By going on AccidentSketch.com a grid appears in the background on the drawing area by default. This grid’s only function is due to orientation and estimation purposes in order simplify adding a traffic element. If you have finished your sketch and you are comfortable with it, you should make the grid disappear by clicking the button “Show grid”  so that the check mark goes away. Now by creating the PDF there is no disturbing grid in your sketch.drid off

How do I save my drawing?

You might have not noticed yet, but actually every sketch that is created by you is saved automatically. This is why there is no special button to particularly save your sketch. If you have started or already finished your accident depiction all elements of your sketch will be saved after closing your browser. More …

How do I send my accident depiction via e-mail?

The e-mailing function seems to have a lack of transparency which we did not expect. Often we are asked why there is no function for sending a sketch via e-mail. Well, of course you can send your depiction to anyone in an e-mail. To do so, click on the button “Print depiction”. Now a PDF is created with your sketch of the accident. In this PDF you will find a button “Send/e-mail your sketch” on the top right corner. Click on this button and your depiction can be sent as an e-mail to anyone you want it to go to. In some certain languages there is no button (yet). Then use the implemented function of the Adobe Reader for sending the PDF – this leads to the same result. More …
